Our pals from Bellshill took us out for the day to see the worlds only rotating water wheel. An amazing feat of engineering brilliance, the Falkirk Wheel loads boats up and takes them 35 metres in the air to deliver them to a higher level on the river Clyde. Continue reading

Edinburgh city through an Aussie lens

Caught the train into Edinburgh Waverley station today, and hopped on and off the tour bus around the most amazing city which is Edinburgh. I took in the Castle, the National Museum and also learnt the story beyond some classic old adages such as ‘daylight robbery’ and the very scottish saying ‘fur coat an nae knickers’.
