Took a 5km hike through the Chatelherault Mansion and gardens with big L today. It’s a great old building but the real gold was a hike down the mountain into the valley and then back up through the gardens. Amazing stuff. Sore legs.

Caught the train into Edinburgh Waverley station today, and hopped on and off the tour bus around the most amazing city which is Edinburgh. I took in the Castle, the National Museum and also learnt the story beyond some classic old adages such as ‘daylight robbery’ and the very scottish saying ‘fur coat an nae knickers’.
