Not quite sure how it turned out this way but I had this vision of someone or something trying to operate everything all at once but nothing was working at all, hence the psychotic eyeballs.

And a girl skipping in a pretty park.

Plus a tv with fish for good measure.

A lot like the Alot, this is quite wrong. Similarly affected by this strange phenomena of mispronunciation is my Arksosaurus.

Uzz had blue hair and a gold pirate earring and often spoke about himself in the third person. That was BF (Before Facebook). Now, AF (After Facebook) it is okay refer to yourself in the third person constantly ie Uzz is going to the pub, or Uzz just got out of bed etc.

I dedicate the Uzz to all the mispronunciations that annoy me. At least I know my object pronouns from my subject pronouns (I don’t actually but Google does).

Possessing a keen sense of smell has often favoured the Ridonculous as the choice of transport by leprechauns when chasing the rainbow to find the pot of gold.

For the best part  this is ok but it has lead them to their own demise as although they do have a keen sense of smell they don’t smell too great themselves.  You know the old adage ‘the fox smells his own hole first’, well it doesn’t apply to the Ridonculous. They believe they smell like roses and have the nose to prove it.

Quite arrogant and self righteous really.  Bandy legged, brown bellied & smelly, rotund and ridiculous, this is the Ridonculous.

However this is not really an excuse for not being able to say ‘ask’ correctly, hence how he earned his name.

Instead of ASK, the Arksosaurus says ARKS.  He ‘arks’ instead of ‘asks’ and endearing it may be to some, it drives me bonkers.

I guess at least he is really pretty and colourful and has those strangely hypnotic eyes.

She is not usually this ugly, but I drew her really badly so I am to blame. Poor ugmo.

No one is very fond of Mouthie.

They only come out at night because they are zombies.

Zombies natural predators are aliens and aliens generally infiltrate the human race by pretending to be human and so they sleep during the night with their human husbands and wives who are none the wiser of the existance of the aliens, or the zombie flowers.

Or something like that.

Rainbow Dreams

The loss of myelin from the nerve sheaths, as in multiple sclerosis.

July 4, 2009, when the neurologist told me that it was most likely Multiple Sclerosis that had made my face go numb down one side I was, weirdly enough, numb.

I remember thinking ‘ahh well, that explains it’.

The really shitty part about that story is that it took almost a year to pass, literally to the day, thinking about it all the time, wondering if it would happen again, thinking every little ache, pain, stammer, forgotten word etc was caused by MS, before the medical fraternity could really clinically point at me and say, yep that’s what it is.

So I waited for a year before having more tests and finally they said just that. You’ve got MS. I don’t really feel any different. I certainly don’t look different.

And nothing else has gone numb since. I get tingly bits now and then, stumble around a bit, and have some pretty wild fatigue which is a bit of a drag, but I am determined that it isn’t going to pull me down.

So I finally drew a picture of it.

It was quite cathartic, and even though I think the picture is a bit crap, I think it accurately tells the story of how I feel about what is happening inside my brain because of this disease.

Lightning is trying to zap my brain and stop it from working properly!

So I have to inject stuff into my fatty bits (and there aren’t many of those) to repel the lightning and make it stop trying to zap my brain, and even if it does zap it, then at least the injection stuff (Betaferon) will stop the lightning from doing too much damage.

That is it in laymen’s terms anyway. The more technical explanation of demyelination is something like this: the destruction of myelin-the fatty sheath that surrounds and insulates nerve fibers in the central nervous system. See? Way more boring.
