Macro shots of summer flowers at Crystal Castle Mullumbimby

Had what must have been the perfect day to visit the Crystal Castle yesterday, sun was out but not excruciatingly hot and everything was in full bloom. And somewhere along the way I have become intoxicated on macro photography.

I don’t know if I am even doing it right but the Olympus PEN makes it a pretty simple affair so here are the latest shots from my quick holiday up to Northern New South Wales.

Enjoy.

I just liked the way that the sun was catching this amazingly vivid purple leaf.

And all of these spectacles of human nature can be found perched atop some of the most stunning hinterlands in Australia at the Crystal Castle in Northern New South Wales.
